Observing the numerous water bottles that have spread in recent years to discourage the use of disposable plastic bottles, I have always thought that they do not formally and functionally express their new mode of use, which moves away from orbiting around the table but is strongly linked to transportation and a much more dynamic use: in the office, while traveling, during a sports activity. Thus, the idea of AWAY was born.
Whether carried by hand, attached to a backpack, clipped to the belt, or hung on the bike, the large clip creates a new way of carrying and interacting with the water bottle, a gesture that is instinctive and natural because it is already embedded in everyone’s habits and evoked by its iconic shape.
It is made through hydroforming and characterized by a double chamber that ensures excellent thermal insulation. The thread for screwing on the cap has been moved internally so as not to aesthetically dirty the exterior and to offer a better sensation while drinking. Finally, 3 colors with a strong and contemporary character have been chosen, also declaring the urban nature of the object.
